In short, they violate US laws and refuse to pay out sick time or pay a living wage. If you get sick or have a family emergency more than a few days, they will replace you and say you quit to not pay unemployment benefits. They will offer to have you work under the table, then take weeks to pay you, not pay you, or they will use it against you.

This working environment is far from ideal, plagued by mismanagement, unsafe practices, and a lack of accountability.
