I applied for a position, they reached out to me to schedule an interview and we did. Today the day of the interview they told me the manager was out of office and we had to reschedule, but then later i get a message from indeed stating the position was filled. Just unprofessional since i didnt even get a chance to do mine, why lie to people?
Edit they got back to me very disrespectfully stating to reread the message saying that the next steps in hiring were taken, that i was mistaken and the hiring was only paused, but i was not told this so i asked respectfully why that was the case only yo be met saying my attitude was "not something they wanted to deal with on a daily basis" and they cancelled my interview anyways. Wouldn't wanna work for a high schooler attitude anyways but this is by far the most disrespectful job encounter ive had.
